My community-oriented approach is evident in my background: I earned my Juris Doctor from the Texas Tech School of Law, where I was an editor for the Journal of Administrative Law and was also heavily involved with the Board of Barristers. I am a graduate of The University of Texas at El Paso with over 20 years Family Law experience in El Paso and former President of the El Paso Family Law Bar Association and I am a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
After graduating, I began my professional journey with Kubinski & Associates, P.C. — and eventually, became a partner at Kubinski & Nichols, P.C. During this time, I handled a wide variety of complex family cases and discovered my passion for all things family law.
Board-certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, I have a strong track record and consistently receive positive feedback from my clients. My approach encompasses a blend of compassionate counsel and proactive representation.
I have 2 children and in my personal time I am an avid golfer and sports enthusiast and enjoy reading and cooking.

Raymond J. Lemelin

Originally from Miami, Florida, Raymond holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management from Columbia Southern University and earned his MBA from Texas Tech University. He combines strategic business acumen with decades of leadership experience, making him a valuable asset in both military and civilian sectors.
A seasoned leader with over 20 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Army, Raymond brings a proven track record of leadership across complex, high-stakes environments. Throughout his military career, he held a variety of leadership roles and completed five combat deployments, demonstrating exceptional commitment, adaptability, and mission-focused decision-making under pressure.
His background includes experience in both manned and unmanned aviation, along with a strong emphasis on training, mentorship, and professional development. As a trusted trainer and mentor, Raymond played a key role in shaping future leaders and enhancing organizational effectiveness. He was instrumental in designing and delivering training programs that supported operational readiness and long-term growth.
Outside of his professional life, he is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling, always seeking new experiences and opportunities to learn from different cultures and environments.
Patricia Neri
Business Manager
Patricia Neri joined the law firm in April 2020. Patricia brings to the firm a background in management, marketing, and business networking. Her experience results in reformed processes and cutting-edge growth. Patricia oversees the firm’s marketing and advertising, human resources and compliance, financial bookkeeping, and management.
She brings to the firm knowledge and experience in family-law matters, being a mother two children and an avid member of our community at large. Patricia’s resources to information makes serving our client’s needs a little bit easier and more economical.
